12 Grey Partridge: 12, poss 14, 'exploded' and flew from the edge of the stubble field nr Waterloo bridge. SU591853. 10:00.

Great Coxwell: 28th October

Yellow-browed Warbler, news from Richard Benwell (via Twitter).

Seen today (the second time this week) along public footpath behind Great Coxwell Park heading to National Trust Farmland.

Edit - The location is Dark Lane at around SU270937.

Chipping Norton: 28th October

Peregrine fem. Stunning Female perched preening breast and wing feathers and tallons only distracted by small flock of Golden Plover overhead. Flew off low at speed over fields putting up more Golden Plover. Circled and flew SE putting up large flock Wood Pidgeon 300 plus before going out of view. Outstanding!!!. 11:15.

From the A417 take the turning signed for Baulking, after 1.4 miles, park near the two
large grey metal gates on the right (limited parking). Then go through the kissing gate in the
hedge and follow path to lake.
