Evening Sand Martin Movement LWV Pit 10

Between c6 pm and 7 15 pm a minimum of 750 Sand Martins  flew E/NE at Pit 10 in flocks of 20 to 75, pulses of birds every time the cold wind gusted stronger. Almost certainly an undercount as uncounted flocks went through before I started using the clicker.
Not a single Swallow though.

2 Little Ringed Plover: Count increased by 100%. C20 Sand Martin at pit too, with a trickle of that species that over my standlake house, and half dozen on river there. Trickle of black headed gulls north over house too. Stock dove continues to visit garden.
