An excellent but sadly brief trip down the left side of the reservoir this afternoon (just 20 mins, 4-4.20 pm):
Wheatear 3
Dunlin 1 (lovely summer plumage)
Hobby 1 hunting hirundines
Whitethroat 2
Gadwall 2
Coot (!)
Spotted Flycatcher - 1 seen in trees over the river behind the water treatment shed near entrance on the way back to the car.
Didn't see Whinchat but didn't have time to walk around so possibly still present.
