Is this possibly the first boomer in Oxon for almost 2 centuries?
ReplyDeleteLucky enough to hear the Bittern booming on Sunday. heard it about six times and mainly three calls each set.
ReplyDeleteYes this is really exciting news, we’re trying to establish when the last boomer was heard in the county, but it is looking like this one might be the first for a couple of centuries. He was booming loud and repeatedly again this morning.
