Otmoor 6th July

Scarce Chaser male (c) TS

A male Scarce Chaser was this morning on the RSPB Otmoor reserve.
Between the corner and the second screen late morning.
This constitutes the first record of this species in Oxfordshire.

    So do we have a new colony of this species? Start double checking all previously assumed Black-tailed Skimmers everyone. Good job Terry didn't swat it!
