1 male cuckoo - heard calling for some time on other side of Thames, then glimpsed from Pinkhill reserve hide
1 grasshopper warbler - reeling then glimpsed in area between Pinkhill reserve & Pinkhill lock
1+ reed warbler(s) heard from Pinkhill hide
Lots of whitethroats, chiffchaffs & sedge warblers everywhere!
4 common terns heading for the reservoirs
