Oxford - Magdalen tower Peregrine

A peregrine (presumably the same bird) seen on the tower throughout November, usually in the morning (before ~8:45am) and late afternoon (after ~4:30pm). Roosting on site confirmed last night.

  1. Actually a pair frequently using the tower - have occasionally seen the two perched up there together but usually only one present

    1. Yes, a pair used the tower last winter and up until last April, but have only seen single birds over the last weeks, would be great if there were two...

  2. Have a few photos of both on the tower from the end of October, will pass them onto Adam to post here. I've been able to sex them by scoping from by bedroom window, usually it is the female perched up there, but this afternoon, for example, the male was sitting on a gargoyle for a couple of hours
