Near Cote
3 Dunlin: In flooded field between Cote and Yelford associating with lapwings and gulls. Not quite as good as Lesser yellow legs my friend found with lapwings yesterday in an unprepossesing but flooded Yorkshire field yesterday! But hey ... Lots of gulls in flood fields around Cote, mostly Lesser black back, eg 700 in this field alone. Worryingly not many young. SP351037. 13:42.

    1. Why the need for anonymity? Thought the obs re LBBG ages was interesting and have noted the same at the Baulking roost. Is this to do with movements of imm. birds or something more sinnister?

  2. irrelevant I might concede, not so sure about drivel. Truth is, I don't have time or inclination to edit from my journal so, if short of time, I cut and paste. Move on.
