Great Northern Diver 1 first winter
Still uncertain if that is weed or something more sinister hanging from the bird's bill.It has been entwined around the diver's lower mandible for a few days and if it was weed would surely have dislodged by now.Whatever it is it does not appear to inhibit the diver and it looked healthy today, diving and feeding continuously
