Hi Jessica I have the same fruit tree overhanging my garden. The fruit stays on all winter and it also has Blackcaps visiting. Can you put a name to it?
From Jessica. its a very small crabapple and its in my from garden by the road. The birds seem to love it though. I vaguely thought about making crabaplle jelly in October im glad i was too lazy.
I love the blackcap in my garden but the only problem with him is that he won’t let any other bird feed on the feeders apart from sparrows. Is this common?
