Reed Warbler: Singing very briefly along the bridleway towards Noke just past the wetlands watch. Very early indeed so only claimed if verified not to be an aberant Sedge. Worth listening for. I am sure it was one but seems far too early and no other reports I can find in the country so far. 18:17.

Reed Warbler also at Shapwick Heath in Somerset today, birds seem to be arriving earlier than usual in the county this year.
