Standlake Pit 60: 26th September

Standlake Pit 60
2 Dunlin: juvs. Flew in during a shower, along with a ringed Plover. Came in from ESE. After an interlude to see the Common Nighthawk (!), I came back. A flock of c7-10 small waders flew in late afternoon. Seen briefly but lost to view. Probably ringed plovers and dunlin: maybe hidden behind shoreline. 22:15.
3 Pintail: Possibly 4. One is an eclipse male . 22:15.
3 Yellow-legged Gull: 2 ad and 1 juv. 22:15.
Grey Wagtail: Battling into wind. 22:15.
Meadow Pipit: Feeding on shoreline then flew west. 22:15.
Ringed Plover: Flew in with 2 dunlin. All 3 feeding on shore. 22:15.
