Cattle egret - 1 juvenile, most likely one of the Blenheim birds. Initially on the far side of the lagoon before flying out and then settled in the trees bordering the small lake within the quarry boundary, and may well roost there.
Yellow-legged gull - 1 adult flew out of adjacent quarry with c20 lesser black-backed gulls.
Green sandpiper - 5 on far side of lagoon.
