Cattle Egret - 6 feeding in closest field to Sutton Courtenay. On my circuit back a single bird flew over towards Abingdon and another lone bird was down the main cycle lane. None present in field on way back so assumed most departed.

I found this webpage https://www.nwnrg.co.uk/research/marsh_harrier/MH_Project_Recoveries.htm
that indicates this bird was tagged as a female nestling near Manea, Cambridgeshire on 14 June 2024. This has been confirmed by Phil Littler of the North West Norfolk Ringing Group.
