Didcot 9th January

Waxwing c60 in Tesco's car park OX11 9BZ before moving to feed in the Ladygrove Estate this morning. Apparently up to 70 birds have been present in the area for a few days 

(per Spencer Parker et al).

The reserve is open, but the visitor trail to the reed bed is currently flooded, preventing access to the viewing screen. Visitors hoping to see the murmuration are advised to wait until the water level subsides.

Waxwing - Single bird feeding on Hawthorn bush on A420 slip road into Cumnor. Flew off west into housing estate calling, possibly more birds present with multiple calls heard.
