Oxford 7th June

Aston's Eyot: 1 Tawny Owl - asleep on willow tree, mobbed by jays and blackbirds
Bannister Close - NON-BIRD: at least 7 plants of what appear to be Pyramidal Orchids and at least 5  Bee Orchids on the lawn by Iffley Rd.

  1. This is great, thank you for spreading the word. Usually this grass would have been razed by now, but due to Covid-19 the University's cutting regime has been delayed allowing the opportunity for these lovely plants to grow and bloom. As a resident of Bannister Close, some of us are trying to get the cutting regime changed going forward so any positive comments and support appreciated.
