2 Egyptian Goose: Two birds by river bank a little way upstream of the Perch. Later saw another 2 birds on the floods. I believe they are different birds to those on the banl but cannot be sure. 16:00.

Hobby: Flew over us across the Thames. Later it re-appeared and circled hunting over Shrike Meadow and the reed beds. 16:00.

Marsh Harrier: fem cream crown. this evening. 22:15.
Redshank: 2. having lost this species as a breeder at the pit I was hoping this pair might breed. But, I'm still seeing the pair just wandering around/resting. Unfortunately, one the pair is now limping. It's the slightly less sum plum than the other so I'm assuming female. If yes, I hope the limp is temporary. 22:15.
