Ring-necked Duck Pair in rain Pit 60 today - plus hybrid lookalike frpm Pit 60
I'm told by my v knowledgeable friend Tim Melling that the only 'breeding' record of RND in UK was in 2004,
when a drake paired with a Tufted Duck. 2 young hatched but not known to have survived. Wonder where this pair will end up. The hybrid long-floppy crest is v reminiscent of the hybrid at Dix in c 2017
