From the second screen - viewing left the bird was in the reeds/cut reed area beyond the small pool. The 2 telegraph poles (at the top of picture) are a good marker as viewed from the right hand side of the screen. Seen on a few occasions from 6pm till 7pm but it's distant and often behind the reeds.

Whinchat: Female, perched on fence wire, adjacent the 'Bunk' railway line, E side. A huge surprise, as we made our way back along the line, having seen little in the way of small passerines. SU587872. 19:45.
