Marsh Harrier: imm. Circling up Nprth of me and then flew steady West. Possibly Lews Farmoor bird roosted last night near by. 10:56.
2 Hobby: Circling together above large flock of Hirundines. 11:50.
2 Yellow Wagtail: 1 on neighbors roof and 1 high South calling. 10:40.

Otmoor 25th August.

At about 11.30 this morning the two cranes appeared form the direction of the MOD land and began to call continuously while circling over Greenaways at the spot where they are frequently seen together. They continued calling and circling while climbing higher and higher and always moving towards the west, until they disappeared from view all together.

2 Hobby: Adult flew fast west 07:42 and Imm flew SW at 12:40.
9 Yellow Wagtail: Flew high South together on passage. 19:20.
4 Yellow Wagtail: On roof behind Hinds Head Pub. 18:00.
2 Raven: Seen daily recently.

Mediterranean Gull: juv moulting to 1w. Med gull in roost. More 1w scaps than Carswell bird. Similar number of LWHGS as Ian L reported other night. Sev yellow legged gulls but couldn't find a caspian (per Mick Cunningham)

Mediterranean Gull: juv with some 1w scaps in fields next to ST Hugh"s school Carswell.
In amongst c600 lbbs c8 YLG and small number BHGS. The med is a juv has one, poss two grey scaps moulted in.
