Farmoor 12th November

Arctic Skua still present at first light commuting between F1 and F2 and occasionally harrying
the gulls. (Gnome & Ewan)

At 08:45 it flew off N/W (Terry et al)

Red-necked Grebe still on F2 this morning and showing well (per RBA)

    I,m so pleased some of you got to tick it, if I could have got it out sooner I would have but a combination of difficulties not least my caring responsibilities and confirming what I had seen through Lewbelu .
    I guess I first saw it around 4.00pm and by the time I had finished getting some pretty average photos the light was failing and I felt reluctant to send everyone on a wild Skua chase until I had confirmed my over excited opinion with Lew.
