Excellent conditions for soaring birds today. I managed to count a minimum of 18 Common Buzzards over and around the reservoir early afternoon, with one kettle containing 7 birds. There were further more distant birds.
A Raven going over and numerous gulls - some of which stopped in for a quick bathe.
3 Siskins in the wood, which are they first I have recorded here this year.
Also of interest a Small Tortoiseshell and several bumblebees.
