Otmoor 24th May - Bee-eater

A Bee-eater was reported on RBA flying over Otmoor marsh at 6:30 pm.

We interrogated spoke to the finder who saw the Bee-eater, he is familiar with the species and was unaware of the significance of his record in Oxon as these birds are fairly common back home in Hungary. Apparently seen over Big Otmoor heading from west to east, it flew over low and called twice. There was no further sign by 20:40.
