Belated report: An ad Caspian Gull filmed in the dark on one of the towers on FII on Saturday (29th) before being booted off by a big Mich.

Lark Hill 31st August WRYNECK

Leo Bateman has just found a Wryneck at Lark Hill along the northern end of the reservoir 16:30.
Still present at 18:40 in scrub along northern end of the reservoir though elusive before going to roost in adjacent private gardens. Access road OX12 8PJ.

Redstart 2 heard along Icknield Way between Lark Hill and West Lockinge.

Otmoor Saturday 29th August - WRYNECK

Mark Chivers found a WRYNECK feeding along the path between the kissing gate and the first screen at 13:16.

Generally elusive but showing occasionally, it was last seen at 4pm when it showed briefly but well. No further sign by 19:30

2 Raven: ive seen a pair of raven every morning this week over ladygrove estate didcot, this morning one sat at the top of a pylon near the pub / shops, cronking for almost an hour , the pylon has nesting material too but not sure if this is related. 08:30.
