Farmoor Reservoir

Due to an outbreak of Covid-19 Thames Water have closed the reservoir for much of this week.

Above are details of when it is open and when it is not.

There is a strict security check on the gate to the main car park with each car registration being noted in and out and you will only be allowed in before 1400hrs on Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday and Saturday if you are a member of the yacht club, attending a sailing class or are otherwise expressly authorised.

All others will be refused entry and turned away. Over a 100 cars have been turned away today, Monday

Please also check the closing times of the reservoir as these will vary depending on the sailing classes

The above times may change as the situation is being reviewed daily but for the moment that is what is being adhered to.

There is currently no news on what may happen from Sunday 25th July onwards.
