Farmoor 25 March

A quick visit in the beautiful spring weather this afternoon. There was a wonderful mix of winter and migrant species.

At least 4 Gadwall
5 Goldeneye (1m)
The drake Garganey showing close in shore on F1
The transitional plumage Slavonian Grebe on the western side of F2
The adult Little Gull lurking amongst the Bh Gulls on F1.
Great views of a male Great Spotted Woodpecker in the woods to the S of F2.
