I think this may be the first I've heard of this. Any thoughts on whether Wood Duck can legitimately be counted towards one's UK list? I have a suspicion the answer may be 'no', but would be interested to know.
You are correct the answer is no. Not fully established to count in Category C like Mandarin. Possible Wild birds seen on Shetland but they have only made it to Category D or E. It is regular in the Azores so there is hope.
