'It is with great sadness that this year, for the safety of all our visitors, volunteers and staff, we ask that people do not visit Otmoor for the starling murmuration. With the government guidelines on social distancing and large gatherings, we cannot safely accommodate the usual large numbers of people that visit us for the starling spectacle.
The rest of the reserve is still open with lots of wildlife to enjoy including over 1000 lapwing, golden plover, wigeon and teal and regular sightings of marsh harrier and hen harrier to name a few.
The starling murmuration will be here next year and we hope we can welcome you back then.
The Otmoor Team'
