Jack Snipe: On a walk over wooden bridge from Chimney to Buckton road, walking path from bridge towards Ham Lane. A common snipe was feeding on melting ice near bridge. Half east along path a Jack Snipe flushed from right under my field. Landed in field. Thought I'd marked the spot but I inadvertently flushed it from field. 21:04.

Mick geography is not your strongpoint. This isn’t Buckland and Buckton doesn’t exist. This road is called the Great Brook Road as it runs alongside the Great Brook! As a general descriptive area I would call it south of Aston.
