Ten years ago this Oriental Turtle Dove was found in Steve Aker's garden in Chipping Norton sparking off arguably the biggest twitch ever in Oxfordshire.The long staying dove raised over £3000.00 from visiting birders which went to Birdlife Malta.
So thank you Steve and Sharon for your tolerance and good humour in welcoming so many birders to your kitchen to see this special bird
