2 Stonechat: Sitting on the top of a bush by the Thames path upstream from the lock. 15:00.
30 Cattle Egret: By cattle in a field next to the Thames Path halfway to Eynsham Lock from Kings Lock. Long grass made birds difficult to see so 30 is probably an undercount. Birds also visible from Oxford Greenbelt Way as it passes below Wytham Woods. As I walked back I noticed 3 cattle egrets by another group of cattle on the opposite bank in the field which has a kissing gate onto the A40 near Cassington. SP454093. 15:00.
