Wonderful day at RSPB Otmoor - 3rd May 2023.

Great White Egret, Little Egret x 3, Curlew, Hobby x 6, Sedge Warbler x 7, Common Tern x 5, Reed Bunting x 5 (M & F) , Lapwing x 13, Kestrel x 2, Blackcap (m), Whitethroat, Linnet (m) Grey Heron x 3, Great Crested Grebe x 2 Shoveler (M & F) Pochard (M & F) Marsh Harrier x 2 (M), Common Crane x 2.

In addition, a nice moonlit evening, with Spotted Crake calling from 21:20, plenty of booming from Bittern and drumming from Snipe. Close encounters with a Little Owl and Cuckoo along bridleway next to Greenaways.
