Farmoor Reservoir 3rd July


Common Sandpiper 4 (8 yesterday)
Common Raven 1
Little Egret 1
Kingfisher 1 (juvenile)

The Common Tern nest  in the marina appears to have failed.

    I'm usually a bit "yawn" about Kingfisher photos but that one is absolutely stunning. The light and shade and the pose all combine to make it look like a painting. Great stuff Ewan!
