Thank you Conor. Do you know if there is a list ? i.e which pit is which in Peep O Day lane ? I know there are three fenced off carp lakes on the right hand side ( going towards Abingdon ) but I can often hear ducks etc on the other side of the lane as well. regards Graham
Hello, Tuckwells pit is the pit filled with water at the western end of Stonehill lane. The Egret are feeding in the fields to the west and south of here approximately here - (51.6496510, -1.2990086). All three were viewable from Stonehill lane this am but there’s a bridleway you can access if they happen to be in one of the other fields to the south.
