A large flock of 58+ Waxwings ranging over south Banbury. They are very flighty and mobile but seem to return to Cedar Close most frequently and a resident said they have been there for 3 days. They perch on the aeriels there and feed on an ornamental Rowan tree in a garden out of view. The residents there seem friendly and happy to have their visitors but if you go please park sensibly and respect their privacy as I'm sure you would.
c12:00 - c50 at St Anne's road and Drenchfield road (c70 birds reported).
c12:30 - 40 at Cedar close.
c13:30 - 58 Cedar close with more at Homestead road.
c13:45 - c20 at Homestead road.
Excellent stuff.
