Oriental (Rufous) Turtle Dove Last Orders


As I understand Steve and Sharon are calling time on visits to No 41 after tomorrow I for one would like to thank them for their kindness, co-operation and tolerance of the huge disruption this extraordinary event has brought to their lives. Many thanks also to their neighbours who also demonstrated unfailing good humour and tolerance. Apparently Steve has done live interviews about the dove for such disparate organisations as the Australian Broadcasting Corporation and last night the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation

    Thanks to everyone concerning the dove, especially to the girls who provided the excellent refreshments under the canopy in the rain on Saturday 19th. Thanks girls. The RSPB should be proud of your commitment.
