Belated Spoonbill
Received a belated report today of a Spoonbill, present last Saturday (28th May) on the small pools to the west of Mackney Lane, Brightwell-cum-Sotwell. No sign since.
It's virtually on my doorstep so would be nice to work occasionally but I couldn't even find the pools! Any help, eg a grid ref, would be much appreciated. Cheers
Grid reference is SU 581 905. The pools are technically on private land, however this is a grey area as a public footpath skirts through the site! I shall get in contact with the owner and let you know the access situation.
