Late afternoon/evening visit in the company of Badger, the Wickster and Ewan.
No sign of the probable Pied Flycatcher. I don't feel I saw enough of the bird in brief poor views to submit a formal description but I will drop a line to Ian Lewington to see what he thinks.
Tit flock widely dispersed along the canal side of the wood with many across the other side of the canal, which is inaccessible. Willow Tit seen/heard and 2 Spotted Flycatchers seen together and a possibly a third bird seen on its own. Still a lot of Warblers in the flock.
8 Swift and more hirundines over the res.
