Don't think there's another one in Oxon? It's all a bit messy county boarder wise around Farnborough, there was a Lesser Scaup on the Lake in the grounds of a NT owned country house in Farnborough a few years ago and I think that was supposed to be in Oxon? Not sure about the canal though??
Ah, I see. I wasn't aware of the contention over where the boundary lies. I just go off the OS map which shows all of Farnborough in Warks. I know the Lesser Scaup (2005?) went down as a Warks bird. Anyway thats probably a political matter I don't need to get involved in!
Either way, no Smew this morning but 3 Goosanders - 1 adult drake and 2 redheads.
The map link that comes up from this news on the going biring site shows Farnborough - Warwickshire? Is there another Farnborough in Oxon?
