Appleford 22nd January

Juv Iceland Gull new in on the Spit Pit this morning together with yesterday's Glauc. Both then flew onto the field NE of the level-crossing.

    Blinking Eck! Lewbelu, you must have spent ages sorting out these Gulls among the loads of similar Gulls and the only difference seems to be a bit more black on the bill and a squinty eyed look - not sure if you deserve my admiration or my pity no it's ok i've decided it's my pity.
    See you tomorrow night looks as if Caroline will be unable to make it.
