Farmoor 9th August am

No sign of yesterdays Black Terns


An unfortunate Common Tern with a fishing hook apparently embedded in its gape. The bird was however behaving as normal and fishing strongly.

    I took a shot of this bird (not as good as yours!) at Otmoor on thursday so its obviously managing so far
