"It was my boss who saw the red-footed falcon record in Oxford yesterday evening. It was actually at GR SP524049 before it flew broadly along Chester Street and then appeared to loop south (but it was behind trees at this point). My boss is the director of the ecological consultancy I work for and is a very good birder. Initially when he first saw the bird he thought Hobby, but as it got closer he could clearly see that it was male red-footed falcon."
