Crowmarsh Gifford: 6th January

Crowmarsh Gifford: Institute of Hydrology/Howbery Park
Waxwing: In top of tree viewed from front gate and footpath with R.S .B.M and J.A. 13:35.

Ralph Watts

Waxwing: Still at private site (Centre for Ecology & Hydrology) but can be veiwed from public footpath. (I'm sorry but although closer views have been enjoyed by staff on-site there is no public access to the site. Please don't enter the car park, and no access is given to the private quad where it has been feeding. The waxwing can be easily viewed, without trespassing, from the public footpath to the south of the site when it flies up to the birch tree - as per Jim Hutchins Oxon Birding blog post & comments yesterday. Thanks for your understanding.). SU615896. 10:30.
