Blackcap m now joined by female
male has now changed his diet from what seemed 100% apples to visiting fat balls and gathering insects from my privet hedge. Prior to moving on ???
Hi Keith Over the past couple of winters the blackcaps in my garden have stayed at least into late March (maybe later) and have overlapped with returning 'british' blackcaps. Very confusing. If your birds disappear early it probably means another garden has more fat snacks than yours.
