Farmoor Reservoir: Farmoor II: 4th February

Snow Goose: 60-70 including a few blue morphs on grass west side of f2.
Barn Owl: shrike meadow mainly and flew along river to pinkhill at dusk.
2 Water Rail: showing well under feeders by hide.
12 Siskin (8 females, 4 males) in trees left of shrike meadow hide.

    That's a good haul of Water rails. Are the Snow goose wild or feral?

      lol. ive never seen a water rail in a tree never mind 12. i'm laughing imagining it. the geese are feral... originaly. theyre living wild now though
