Otmoor Starling Murmuration
The starling murmuration on Otmoor has been declining rapidly over the past few weeks and has now stopped. The people who went down to Otmoor to see it last weekend were disappointed. If you know of anyone intending to go down please warn them that it will not get going again until next autumn. It is of course still a great place to visit and is still full of birds.

  1. to those who were there: since I'll be looking for it tomorrow, is it the case that the bird somehow stays within the business premises, and they said no one would be let in during office hours?

    1. Hi, it’s my understanding that the offices are in the middle of nowhere, and that there are only a limited number of parking spaces available for the people who work there.
Continued access to the site will very much depend on the consideration of visiting birders and photographers.
