Standlake Pit 60: 30th August

Standlake Pit 60
Caspian Gull: 3cy. Hardest age to get correct. I'd say 2nd Summer moulting to 3rd winter in trad scheme. Has dropped outer primaries. 21:49.
Mediterranean Gull: juv. a beautiful juv with black-headed gulls. 21:49.
Green Sandpiper: SNT had seen this earlier. Still present as I was checking gulls between 6.45pm and 7. 40pm. 21:49.

    Correction juv med gull. Freudian slip cos I was explaining difference between juv common and juv med!
