2 Oystercatcher: six months ago it would be a shock to see an oystercatcher in the park. On this visit one of them was in a willow tree!
5 Little Egret: 5 adult birds on or around the island. There are around 20 young egrets wandering over the island. With my binoculars I have no idea how many are little egrets/cattle egrets. I'm pretty sure there are both.
Wigeon: male. Still in the same spot as last month. He looks fine but I feel he must be injured.
50 Sand Martin: the colony on the bridge seems to get bigger each year.
2 Common Tern: possible nest on the island.
