6 Cattle Egret: at least two nests on the island.
7 Little Egret: at least one nest, with two juv, on the island.
15 Grey Heron: still at least five occupied nests. Some young have already fledged.
Oystercatcher: flying to island.
19 Great Crested Grebe: several occupied nests.
6 Egyptian Goose: including one juv.
40 Sand Martin: at least 40. Looks like there are even more nest sites on the bridge this year.
