5 Common Crossbill: Flew up and landed in trees in plantation called The Warren on circular walk from car park and back. Distant as plantation fenced off. Etc least 130 chaffinches in stubble field with yellowhammers. 16:56.

Hardwick GP
150 Pochard: Count is very approx as not much time. The park is closed so no water sports. Hence unusually large-ish numbers of diving duck here. These were with similar number of RC Pochard and good uncounted numbers of Tufteds. Small starling roost, 2 chiffchaffs and a Cetti's Warbler, plus fair few winter thrushes. 22:24.
